JEDDAH: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) General Supervisor Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah met UNICEF Executive Director Henrietta Fore on Tuesday at the headquarters of the center in Riyadh, where the two parties signed a memorandum of cooperation.
Al-Rabeeah described the meeting as being constructive during a press conference, stressing that the link with this prestigious organization is a sustainable partnership that dates to the inception of the center.
“The memorandum of cooperation signed today aims at promoting the humanitarian cooperation and the exchange of knowledge and experiences, and supporting volunteering, research and capacity building programs,” he said.
He noted that this was the fifth cooperation agreement to be signed with UNICEF, covering areas such as health, environmental sanitation, vaccination of children in Yemen and Yemeni refugees in Djibouti.
Fore expressed her appreciation and gratitude to KSRelief center’s staff for the assistance that they provide all over the world.
“We have worked together in many countries,” she said. “The partnership between UNICEF and the KSRelief center is a long-lasting, useful and constructive partnership benefiting children and young people everywhere.”
